How It Started
Wick & Wonder started as a fun project; a passion for making candles evolved into a new adventure. After many trials, we created candles we were proud of and shared them with our family and friends, and the feedback was great. People asked if we had a website and that’s when we started wondering… what else could we do to help people feel at home and hold onto memories?
The Moment That Sparked the 'Wonder'
It started in Doug’s dad’s basement, where old photo albums surrounded us. He took one out and showed us pictures from a 1985 trip to Italy with Doug’s mom. He said, “I don’t think this has been opened since your mom put the album together.” That statement resonated with us. On the drive back to the city, we realized that memories like these shouldn’t be tucked away and forgotten.
